Michaela Ledesma is a Peacebuilding Associate for the International Peacebuilding Advisory Team. She began working with Interpeace in 2011, providing design and writing support, and technical guidance to the development of peacebuilding programme grant proposals. Her expertise includes the use of technology to promote peace and social cohesion, as well as in the design, management and in providing technical support to peacebuilding programmes and multi-stakeholder processes in conflict affected contexts. She has established and managed multi-stakeholder partnerships, and built inter-agency and multi-stakeholder peacebuilding collaborations to leverage respective institutional strengths and capacities. Michaela’s experience also includes linking local and national peacebuilding practices to policy discussions, and the design and facilitation of multi-stakeholder processes around public policy issues. She has acquired over 15 years of experience working with government, non-profit and non-government organizations including Resolve, Inc., Mercy Corps, Concordis International, International Rescue Committee, swisspeace, and the United Nations Development Programme.
